Personalized Yoga Coaching for Addictions

Well, that’s exactly why I created my Personalized Yoga and Coaching for Addictions Program. It will help you get from a place of stagnation and depression to a place of gratitude and feeling alive. We all have addictions of some kind – shopping, work, exercise, eating, scrolling, drugs, alcohol – and we all have our challenges that go along with those addictions. In my yoga coaching program we use different kinds of mindfulness – including yoga, meditation and breathwork – to work through those addictions and get you back into your body so that you are less disconnected from yourself and more present. It will help you get from where you are today to where you want to be, that place where you feel more alive, grounded and connected and more engaged with your family and friends and your life.
I can help you. I was exactly where you are today. I thought everything was under control, but I was drinking too much in order to deal with my stress and it started creating more and more problems for me. I felt scattered. I was disconnected from myself and my life, just going through the motions, not fully engaged. After finding yoga and leaning into its healing powers, I committed to the process, and after many yoga classes, I was able to get back into my body, stop drinking and get my life back on track. I have now been teaching yoga for over 20 years and have helped many people through some very challenging times in their lives. The yoga works. All we have to do is commit to the process and let it work its magic.
In this 8 week course we will use yoga and mindfulness to get you back into your body so that you can live a more authentic, present and grateful life. You will be challenged as you go through your 8 week process to let go of any addictions and you will come out the other side feeling rejuvenated, grounded and more connected to yourself and others.
The 8 week program will consist of an hour of personalized yoga and coaching each week, followed by journaling, homework and personal yoga practice for the rest of the week. A tailored yoga class will be sent to you for you to do that week.
Each of the one hour sessions will be broken up into two sections – yoga and coaching.
Week 1 –
- 30-45 minutes of yoga, 30-45 minutes of coaching
- Tailored yoga class to determine where you are with yoga and your body
- Personalized coaching to learn about you and your challenges
Weeks 2 – 6 –
- These 5 weeks are about helping you build resources to get you connected to yourself so that you can stay with the challenge rather than reaching for a drink or some other vice
- 30-45 minutes of yoga, 30 minutes of coaching
- We will use the coaching sessions to find out how things are going, how the yoga is working for you, where are you stuck and challenged
- We will use yoga and other mindfulness techniques to get you back into your body, and see how it is helping you in “real life”
- We will cultivate resources to help support you in the challenge including using –
– Breath
– Movement
– Stillness
– A Pause
– Sounds
– Gaze or focus
These will all help you get back into your body so that you can stay with the challenges in your life and deal with them more gracefully
We will use yoga, breathwork and meditation to create more mindfulness in your life, and give you –
