Slender daffodils are brightening neighborhood gardens, Greenlake's dogwood trees are budding, the days are getting longer, and the sun has finally returned. Yoga encourages us to be mindful of this gentle shift into a new season. It nurtures us as we let go of winter's dormancy, put down roots, and begin to grow. We look forward to seeing you at both of our studios this spring. In addition to our regularly-scheduled classes, we are offering a number of exciting workshops; several new classes; a retreat on beautiful Orcas Island; and free community events.
Yoganatomy and Asana: Lower Body THIS Saturday, March 1st with Michael
Yoga can help us to identify self-destructive thought patterns that reinforce negative images we have of our bodies. Through meditation, pranayama breathing, chanting and asana, we will explore our self-perceptions. With svadhyaya (self reflection) and ahimsa (non-violence) we will learn to nurture our inner beauty and strength.
AcroYoga blends the spiritual wisdom of yoga, the loving-kindness of Thai massage, and the dynamic power of acrobatics. These three ancient lineages form the foundation of a unique new practice that cultivates trust, connection and playfulness. Join eZa as you connect to one another through ceremony, asana, partner flow, and Thai massage.
Yoga Nidra is a form of self-inquiry that provides us with a framework for going beyond our own self-limiting beliefs. This series will explore the six layers of our being. It will start with the gross physical body and move into subtler energetic bodies in order to enable us to release mental, emotional and behavioral patterns that no longer serve us.
