We hope this finds you well and that 2007 was a great year for you. As we look forward, it is important to reflect on the past. We might reflect on our '07 resolutions before setting new or perhaps the same ones in 2008. We can look at past experiences and our current state through svadhyaya- reflection and self-study. We can tap into the power of tapas-cleansing/purification-  to help propel us on our path. We can practice santosha-contentment- to acknowledge that which has helped to get us to where and who we are today. Yoga encourages us to be kind to ourselves and others in thought and in word through ahimsa so if we didn't hit all of our past goals, there's still opportunity for growth and transformation. We hope that 2008 brings you joy and good health.
